Both of our guides are trained mountain bike instructors and leaders, holders of the MIAS Level 2 qualification, and are qualified first aiders as well as being experts at those unfortunate on-the-spot repairs in the wilderness! So let's meet them…

Steve
Technically accomplished and knowing no fear, Steve can usually be found bombing around the woods in his native Newcastle.
Andy
Andy can often be found grinding around his local off-road trails in Rivington, Lancashire.
So what is MIAS?
MIAS is the Mountain Bike Instructor Award Scheme. MIAS accreditation is from the Awarding Body Consortium ( Reading University). The course has national accreditation and is recognised by:
- The Association of British Cycle Coaches (A.B.C.C.)
- Cyclist's Touring Club (C.T.C.)
- Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (A.A.L.A).
