Even with the best intentions in the world, mountain biking is potentially a dangerous activity and as such we recommend you take out personal accident cover.

Personal accident insurance

For any trip, we insist that clients have holiday insurance that covers them for all activities included in the itinerary. We do not want you, or our guides to be in a position where there is an injured person who cannot be rescued or treated due to the lack of suitable insurance. mIf your policy is not clear on what is covered please ask your provider to put a confirmation in writing. Unfortunately, we cannot let you ride on any trip until suitable cover is confirmed.

By law we are obliged to offer a suitable insurance policy to our clients and we do have a good and reasonably priced option available from SportsCover Direct Insurance, an approved third party insurance company, if you need it.

Cycle insurance

Obviously if you have an expensive bike, we'd hate to see it wrecked out there on the trail but if the worst should happen, then at least if it's covered you can sleep at night! We don't make cycle insurance compulsory for our trips, but for you own peace of mind, SportsCover Direct Insurance also have numerous policies.
